Enter width × height in inches (e.g., 36⅛). Measure to 1/8″ precision. We take 3W × 3H — the installer records final measurements at the home visit.
Inside mount fits within the window opening. Direct mount frame attaches to the face of the frame. Tracking & sliding systems for bypass, bi-fold, or barn-door configurations.
This determines available colors, louver sizes, and max panel widths.
Applies to all openings in this order. If you have mixed types, note differences in the notes step.
L = hinges on left, opens right. R = hinges on right, opens left. T = T-post (stationary center divider). Select the layout for your openings.
T-posts are stationary center dividers. Vertical T-posts split the shutter width. Horizontal T-posts split double-hung panels. Required when your layout includes "T".
Horizontal T-post: 10% surcharge applies. Default type: Chamfer T-post unless otherwise specified. Custom T-post width up to 7½″ available (additional surcharge). Section length per T-post ≤48″.
Larger louvers mean a clearer view when open and a bolder look. Smaller louvers offer a traditional style.
The frame surrounds the shutter panel. Most inside-mount orders use an L Frame. Z frames work for window casings with specific depth. Hang strips are low-profile.
A divider rail adds a horizontal mid-panel rail so louvers can be controlled independently above and below. Required on tall panels.
